Why do I even need a hardware wallet?
A hardware wallet keeps your private keys on a dedicated device and lets you review transactions before approving them. Keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions.
Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard — which one is right for me?
Ledger and Trezor are the easiest for beginners. Coldcard is the reference standard for people who only hold Bitcoin and want maximum auditability. BitBox and Foundation Passport sit in between. Compare the specifications on each product page to find your fit.
Are the devices genuine?
Yes. Every wallet is sourced from the manufacturer or their authorised distributor. Every unit is shipped in its factory-sealed tamper-evident packaging. If the seal is compromised on arrival, we replace the device.
How is my card processed?
Card payments are processed by a licensed PCI-DSS Level-1 acquirer. Your card number never touches Coldkeys servers. We store only an order reference — enough to fulfil, ship, and support you.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide by tracked courier. A handful of jurisdictions are unavailable for legal reasons — you will be told at checkout if yours is one of them.
What if my device arrives broken or seized in customs?
Photograph the outer packaging before opening. Email us within 72h at care@coldkeys.shop. We resend or refund. No dispute, no runaround.
